Ashland is a pretty, small town....surrounded by gorgeous mountains, lazy creeks, and roaring rivers.
This is a place where incredibly talented chefs prepare locally grown cuisine to pair with award winning local wines. A place where high tech meets high touch. Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and an array of other visual and vocal artistry. Ashland offers you the space to remind yourself who you truly are.
We invite you to come see it, drink it in, soak it up, and indulge your senses. Visit us online at www.ashlandchamber.com.

Hiking & Biking
In 2001, the Ashland Woodlands & Trails Association, a private non-profit organization was formed to bring a private/public partnership with the City of Ashland to raise funds to purchase more open space and create a connected trail system. The vision of the AWTA is to create an “emerald necklace” of open space and trails that encircles Ashland.
Water Sports

Winter Sports
The Mt. Ashland Ski Area is nestled in the magnificent Siskiyou Mountains, the alpine gateway to the Pacific Northwest. Mount Ashland is conveniently located halfway between San Francisco and Portland; just 8 miles off Interstate 5. Mount Ashland receives over 300 inches of annual snowfall; plenty of snow for powder hounds and plenty of sun all winter long. Mount Ashland has 23 trails in addition to chute skiing in a glacial cirque called the 'bowl'. The mountain, the people, and the quaint City of Ashland make a winning combination.
Once in town you can ice skate at the Darex Family Ice Skating Rink, located outside, right across the street from beautiful Lithia Park.
If cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing is more to your liking you can purchase a Winter Snow Park Pass from the Forest Service or at Mt. Ashland and several downtown merchants for only $20 for the whole winter season. There are plenty of trails around Ashland to get you out and away!
