Eagle Crest Resort Golf Courses

Eagle Crest Resort offers three incredible courses that provide three unique golf experiences. We keep either the Resort or Ridge Course open year round, providing one of Central Oregon’s longest playing seasons.

The Challenge
Don’t let the yardage fool you. The Challenge Course at Eagle Crest Resort is a real test where you’ll need an extra-sharp short game and savvy course management skills to have any chance at scoring well. This is definitely not an executive course where all you need is a sand wedge. All of the nine par 3’s measure more than 125 yards and the shortest plays over a lake to a tricky, shallow green. The par 4’s measure 300 to almost 400 yards long and demand extra accuracy on the approach.

The Resort Course
The original layout at Eagle Crest has deceivingly tight fairways. Those dreaded OB stakes line many holes and there’s a canyon that eats golf balls left and right. Be ready for a series of great finishing holes that can make or break your round. The signature hole on the this course is number 2, which is a dogleg right par 5 where you tee off 80 feet above the canyon floor.

The Ridge Course
This modern, wide-open course was designed by in-house architect John Thronson. Good players often score well on the risk and reward par 5’s, only to give strokes back on the par 3 holes. Number 12, in particular, is a tough, downhill par 3 where club selection and good old-fashioned guts make all the difference. Also, there’s a lot of subtle break in these greens, so prepare for more than one three-putt.
