Located on the dry side of the Cascade Mountain range, just 15 miles south of Bend, Sunriver Resort offers 54-holes of award-winning golf. Sunriver Resort is home to some of the world’s best golf (just ask Golf Digest) and limitless recreation opportunities. The three 18-hole championship courses designed by acclaimed architects John Fought (Meadows Golf Course), Bob Cupp (Crosswater Golf Course) and Robert Trent Jones Jr. (Woodlands Golf Course). The courses are graced with carefully preserved wetlands, forested meadows, and sparkling waters.
Crosswater Club is honored by Golf Digest as one of “America’s 100 Greatest Courses,” and is the flagship of the resort. This heathlandstyle course is situated on 600 magnificently scenic acres of woodlands and carefully preserved wetlands. The course features five tee placements for each hole, bent grass fairways and greens, and is threaded by the gently flowing Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers. In fact, depending on tee selection the rivers can come into play as often as seven times in a round.
Sunriver Resort golf courses have hosted numerous championship events in recent years. Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort will play host to the JELD-WEN Tradition beginning in 2007. This year’s event will be televised nationally on NBC.
