As we enter into our fourth year of Golfing Oregon Magazine, we look back at 2009 and see that we successfully reached over 400,000 avid golfers that either visited Oregon for a golf vacation or call Oregon home and wanted to “hit the road” and play some of the amazing courses in their own backyard. We’re poised to reach even more golfers in 2010 by expanding to over 1500 FREE pickup locations for Golfing Oregon in the Western United States. You can find Golfing Oregon in some of the finest golf shops from Seattle to San Diego and Los Angeles to Chicago and Dallas, Texas. We’re proud to be the ONLY golf directory for Oregon with this kind of reach and market penetration.
Once again, I’d like to invite you to attend what is going to be our 5th Annual Ghost Tree Invitational at Pronghorn Resort in Central Oregon. The Ghost Tree has quickly become the hottest event in Central Oregon and the region. This two-day event features a four person golf tournament on Friday the 27th of August where teams battle it out on the famed Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Pronghorn for fantastic prizes and trips including an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas for the low Gross and Net Champions.
The following day on the 28th is Dinner on the Range. Over 1000 people converge upon Pronghorn for this outdoor food, wine, beer and music extravaganza. Nearly 20 chefs prepare gourmet food for the guests and you get to sample wine from ten wineries, 5 breweries, gin tastings, cigar tastings and much more. The icing on the evening is a live dance band plays from 6pm to 10pm and gets the groove going where people dance the night away. Don’t miss this event where 100% of the net proceeds are donated to local charities, visit us online at www.GhostTreeInvitational.com.
